Here’s a quick update on the Criskelo ICS ROM, now in V2, gives you full 1.4Ghz, Note S pen app (the new one), RoleTube app (that let you download Youtube videos), and a few more enhancements.
This is probably one of the best ICS ROMs out for your GT-N7000 with S-Pen functionality working so give it a go and let me know how it works for you!

For those of you who want to try the ICS “tablet mode” on your Galaxy Note GT-N7000, you can install Imilka AOSP ICS ROM with tablet mode to bring you full Android tablet user interface. This essentially turns your Galaxy Note into an Android tablet device. Of course, the fonts get a bit smaller in some parts but the good thing is that you will be able to use tablet apps you won’t normally be able to access.
As for icons, someone has pointed out you can actually install Apex launcher from the Play Store and set your icon drawers to 7×7 for bo
For those of you who have bricked your Galaxy Note GT-N7000 for some odd reason (although that’s hard to do) or you simply want to “un-warrantize” your phone so you can return it for warranty, you always have the option to “unroot” your phone completely back to stock.
This will get you back on stock Gingerbread ROM. And if ICS is available by the time you read this, you can still unroot using this method and do a software update on your phone (or use Samsung Kies) to get it all back to stock.

Here’s another great ICS ROM you can try out, CriskeloROM for your rooted Galaxy Note GT-N7000. This is a really stable/fast ROM, love it, try it and let me know if you have any problems. So far so good other than Apex launcher crashing with Samsung stuff, use TouchWiz launcher if you want to use Samsung widgets.
*Note – It is NOT compatible with AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-i717!

Looking for a really stable and flawless ICS ROM for your rooted Galaxy Note GT-N7000? Well, try the MidNote ICS ROM, this one features leaked ICS 4.0.3 base from Chinese Galaxy Note plus many enhancements. Honestly, I was having a bit trouble with RoMow ICS I posted last week but MidNote ICS ROM seems to be much better with no funky keyboard bugs that I was getting.
Everything works well and seems to be purring, definitely and highly recommended ICS ROM. This maybe be one of the best ICS ROMs available right now for Galaxy Note GT-N7000.

Want a fully working ICS ROM for your rooted Galaxy Note GT-7000?
Well, the long wait is over, you can give Romow ICS ROM a try, which is one of the first ICS ROMs (with everything working) that’s available for Galaxy Note GT-N7000.
This ROM is pretty stable and smooth, gives you Nova ICS launcher, Face Unlock, and a full ICS experience. And that’s not all, your S-Pen works too!

Here’s another great ROM you can try out for your rooted Galaxy Note, KingDroid ROM. This one comes with pretty cool customizations, better battery life/performance.
It also comes with mDNIe Switcher app which allows you to change stock color profile quickly. There’s also custom dialer, improved touch response, and faster YouTube loading.

Want really long battery life? I’ve been testing out many Galaxy Note ROMs over the last week and I have to say that the CheckROM Revo ROM has the best battery life. On light usage, I was able to get 4 full days and full 2 days on moderate usage.
Besides that, this ROM gets updated often so you might want to check it out. Let me know how it works for you.
For maximum battery life, flash the ROM only and for those of you who want overclocking, you can flash the FM kernel too.

Here’s another great, custom ROM you can try out that comes with 1.704Ghz overclocking and performance/battery enhancements over stock. This one is also very good ROM like the Rocket ROM and RoMow ROM. Currently, I think this ROM and the Rocket/RoMow ROM are all great ROMs for the Galaxy Note, super-fast, way better than stock ROMs.
