Imilka AOSP ICS ROM with Tablet Mode Galaxy Note GT-N7000! [Can’t Do This On iPhone NEVER]

For those of you who want to try the ICS “tablet mode” on your Galaxy Note GT-N7000, you can install Imilka AOSP ICS ROM with tablet mode to bring you full Android tablet user interface. This essentially turns your Galaxy Note into an Android tablet device. Of course, the fonts get a bit smaller in some parts but the good thing is that you will be able to use tablet apps you won’t normally be able to access.

As for icons, someone has pointed out you can actually install Apex launcher from the Play Store and set your icon drawers to 7×7 for both horizontal/vertical. And this works well for putting a gazillion apps on your Galaxy Note.

I think this is a very interesting ROM, especially for tablet-mode purposes. Give it a try and let me know what you “find”.
