For this week’s Galaxy Note GT-N7000 ROM of the Week, check out the latest version of Asylum Omni ROM, now with latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat, OmniSwitch, and some more customization.
I’ve tried many other KitKat roms this week but it seems that Asylum Omni ROM is the one I can recommend the most as it has everything working out of the box while giving you the most customization, overclocking, and nice dark-and-black theme (which can also save you battery life on AMOLED screen).
For overclocking, I recommend setting the maximum frequency to 1.4Ghz (or 1400Mhz) and “set on boot”. Even without overclocking, Asylum Omni ROM performs well and certainly one of the smoothest custom ROMs for the GT-N7000 “right now”.
Definitely give this ROM a try (or upgrade to the latest version, just install without wipe but also re-install Gapps!) this week(end) and do let me know what you think!

If you want PIE Controls, see our LMT Pie Control guide.
If you want some awesome audio, check out Viper4Audio FX MOD, which you can install on this ROM to enhance your music 100%.
