How To Root Galaxy Note 10.1! [Easiest Method][CWM][Method 2][ICS/Jelly Bean]

For those of you who want an easier/quicker method to root your Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000/GT-N8013, you can install the “High On Android” ClockworkMod Recovery on your Galaxy Note 10.1. This will allow you to install, backup, and restore ROMs and also flash zip files so you can root your GT-N8000/GT-N8013/GT-N8010.

UPDATE: This root method works for both 3G and Wifi Note 10.1, GT-N8000 or GT-N8013 or GT-N8010. If your model number starts with any of those model numbers, you can use this method fine.

How To Install Android 4.4 KitKat Compatible CWM Recovery on AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-i717!

For those of you who want to install the latest Android 4.4 KitKat ROMs on your AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-i717 (or Canadian Telus/Bell Rogers i717R), you need to be using at least CWM Recovery version or higher.  (TWRP is not compatible with Android 4.4 KitKat yet!!!)

How to Install Android 4.4 KitKat ROM on Galaxy Note GT-N7000!

For those of you who want to enjoy the new Android 4.4 KitKat ROM on your Galaxy Note GT-N7000, you will have to follow some new directions as things have changed a bit.

First of all, Android 4.4 KitKat custom ROMs require you to be using CWM Recovery v6.0.4.3 or higher.  Since CWM Recovery is integrated with the kernel, it’s going to cause problems for most of you who try to install Android 4.4 custom ROMs as most custom ROMs have an older version of CWM or TWRP.  (Btw, do not use TWRP as they are currently not compatible for installing Android 4.4 ROMs.)

How to Root Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition!

For those of you with the latest Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition with model number SM-P600, here’s how to root your Note 10.1.

Step 1. Power off your Note 10.1 2014 Edition then hold down Volume Down and Power buttons together for about 3 seconds until you see warning screen.

Step 2. Hit Volume Up button to enter ODIN Download mode and connect a micro-USB cable from your Note 10.1 2014 Edition to your computer.

How to Overclock Galaxy Note GT-N7000 or Note 10.1 Using Tegrak Overclock App!

Need overclocking on your rooted Note GT-N7000 or Note 10.1?

Currently (at the time of writing this), there’s no custom kernel with overclocking for Android 4.1.2 TouchWiz-based ROMs on the GT-N7000. Which means you are stuck with no overclocking and visible lag you don’t like.

How to Unroot/Unbrick Galaxy Note 10.1! [Factory Firmware]

For those of you who want to return your Galaxy Note 10.1 for warranty or simply want to reload the factory firmware (because you didn’t make a backup ROM), here’s how to do it.  This will put the factory ROM, recovery, and kernel back onto your Note 10.1.  This works for all the Note 10.1 GT-N8000, GT-N8010, and GT-N8013 models, you just need to use the correct firmware for your model number.

Step 1. First, hold down Power and Volume Down buttons together until your Note 10.1 resets into Download warning screen.
