OnlyOne ICS ROM for AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-i717! [TouchWiz UX][Best ICS ROM]

onlyone-ics-rom-att-galaxynote-sgh-i717

After using OnlyOne ICS ROM for my AT&T Galaxy Note for over a week, I have to confess to you that it’s the best ICS ROM I’ve tried yet so far.

Well, there’s an updated version now, dubbed “HYFR” Beta 4 that brings more cool Galaxy S3 features to the ROM S3 Icons, S3 ringtones, S3 Notfications, S3 UI sounds, S3 Alarm sounds, and best of all, faster performance and many bugs fixed.

If you are on an older version of OnlyOne ICS, simply upgrade by installing the new ROM without wipe. (Also make a backup of your ROM just in case a

AOKP ICS ROM for Galaxy Note GT-N7000!

aokp-ics-rom-galaxynote-gt-n7000

AOKP ICS ROM is one of my very favorite ICS ROMs for Android devices in general. Well, it’s not available for your Galaxy Note GT-N7000, meaning you can also try out what all the fuss is all about.

AOKP ICS ROM brings you very “pure” Google ICS experience while allowing you to add lots of customizations including holding Power button to enable flash, customize user interface/lockscreen, and a ton more. If you want to see all the features, just watch the video.

If you haven’t tried AOKP yet, certainly give it a go and let me know what y

kingdroid-ics-rom-galaxynote-gtn7000

KingDroid ICS ROM v2.0 is out now!

UPDATE: KingDroid ICS ROM v3.0 is out now!

The new version of KingDroid ICS now features more cool features like Franco kernel 3.0.15, LP5 mode, NEW init.d Tweaks, NEW Tweaks build.prop, transparent task manager widget, native call recording, and a lot more.

I think this is by far the most complete ICS ROM (with S-Pen pressure-sensitivity working fully) right now for your Galaxy Note GT-N700

CM9 ICS ROM for AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-i717!

cm9-att-galaxynote-sgh-i717

Looking for something more than just TouchWiz on your AT&T Galaxy Note?

Well, you can give the “famous” CM9 ICS ROM for your AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-i717 now. With CM9 ICS ROM, you will lose the pressure-sensitivity feature on your S-Pen but be able to enjoy the full “pure” ICS experience.

Of course, if you really need to use your S-Pen you can always have a custom ROM backed up in CWM so you can easily restore to that ROM when needed.

Other than that, you will find a load of features and options in the CM9 ICS ROM so giv

How to Overclock ICS on Rooted Galaxy Note GT-N7000!

howto-overclock-ics-galaxynote-gt-n7000

For those of you who want to overclock your Galaxy Note GT-N7000 on ICS ROM, now you can do it easily and safely using Tegrak Overclock app (free on the Play Store).

This app loads a “module” into your kernel and allows you to overclock your Galay Note up to 1.6Ghz.

I personally don’t feel the need for overclocking on latest ICS ROMs like KingDroid ICS ROM or

Saurom ROM RC7.1 for AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-i717! [Best Gingerbread ROM]

saurom-rom-rooted-att-galaxynote-sgh-i717

Honestly, I simply haven’t found a single ICS ROM for my AT&T Galaxy Note SGH-i717 that I would want to use as a daily driver. My criteria for a daily driver ICS ROM would include the use of the S-Pen and overclocking. I feel that without overclocking the SGH-i717 isn’t usable and you will notice a ton of lag, especially when using the S-Pen. (The GT-N7000 runs without lag though without overclocking, much better processor.)

Anyways, I still think Saurom ROM is the best ROM right now so here’s an updated Saurom ROM RC7.1. I will keep trying more

Rocket ICS ROM for Rooted Galaxy Note GT-N7000! [Best ICS ROM]

rocket-ICS-rom-galaxynote-gtn7000

Looking for the “best” ICS ROM for your rooted Galaxy Note GT-N7000? Well, I’ve been flashing more times you can imagine but I think I’ve finally found a great ICS ROM that I am using now as a daily driver, the Rocket ICS ROM!

Previously with Criskelo ICS ROM I’ve had some lag issues and since overclocking isn’t supported with ICS yet (as Samsung hasn’t released kernel source code), I went back to a Gingerbread ROM and swore to myself to never go back to ICS for awhile. Plus, I wanted to keep the S-pen pressure-sensitive fea
