Samsung released “official” Android 4.1.2 ROM just few days ago and now you can get this for your Galaxy Note GT-N7000.
For those of you who have been using custom ROMs, this isn’t anything new as we have been using leaked Jelly Bean custom ROMs with even more features but it is definitely “official” now and you can install it easily on your Galaxy Note without losing root.
First, I recommend installing the CWM-flashable zip file, which comes with the full “official” Android 4.1.2 ROM, root, and also with CWM Recovery. This is probably the best way to get the official Android 4.1.2 ROM on your phone.
Also, if you want to be “totally” stock without root and with stock recovery, you can flash the .tar.md5 version with ODIN.
Now, the official Android 4.1.2 is rather impressive as it packs multi-window, Smart Stay, and other stuff from Note 2 running much faster than official ICS. If you really need to be on the official Android 4.1.2 ROM, go ahead and try it out this week and let me know what you think!

Hi i gonna flaah the flashable zip. to install it do i have to use abyss kernel or just flash it
does this raise my binary count? its important for me cause its a work phone and if i need to send it to fix i need my binary count to be 0 thanks..
Do I get complete list of Apps in multi-window sidebar or it lists only selected few apps ? Can someone confirm that please. Secondly, if someone who have used Custom 4.1.2 and moved to official version , is there any improvement in terms speed/battery ?

Can’t seem to download the stock rom no matter how many times I try. Perhaps you could make this available via P2P or NZB?

How can I root the totally stock firmware?
I have tried this Samsung Official Android 4.1.2 ROM + Root for Galaxy Note GT-N7000! for more than 2 weeks since i download it. First it was okay and better than ICS but then something happen. When I restarted my phone it seems that it stuck at the first wording “Samsung Galaxy Note N7000″ for eternity or until the battery is dead. I even pulled out my battery and it seems its still not working. The only solution now is reverting to stock ICS roms. Does anyone got this problems?

you have to again flash your rom or just restore to factory settings
