For this week’s GT-N7000 and SGH-i717 Galaxy Note ROM of the week, check out BeanStalk ROM.
Based on Android 4.3 CM10.2, BeanStalk ROM brings you the latest Android 4.3 along with UI customization and other cool features like PIE Control, HALO floating notifications, and more.
I’ve tried many Android 4.3 builds so far and BeanStalk ROM is one of the more fun ones with cherry-picked features that you may enjoy over a regular CM10.2, which is great also but you don’t get as much customization out of the box.
As for camera, the Focal camera is a bit buggy but stock camera works just fine. Also you can install Android 4.3 PhotoSphere Camera APK to get full PhotoSphere on the ROM.
Overall, it’s a pretty smooth Android 4.3 although there are some bugs to be improved upon.
If you don’t feel like waiting for stable release of Android 4.3 and want to tinker with the best and the latest, check out BeanStalk ROM this week(end) and do let me know what you think!
Download Android 4.3 Gapps (You must use 4.3 Gapps only, 4.2 apps will not work!)
To install, reboot into recovery, make a backup ROM, wipe data/factory reset, install ROM, install Gapps, and reboot.
If you do not install Gapps, the keyboard will force close so PLEASE INSTALL gapps!!!
Download Android 4.3 PhotoSphere APK (To install, install Titanium Backup app and uninstall existing Gallyer app first!)Need Help? Follow/add me on Google+, Facebook, or Twitter!
