    Hi,

Can you put a tutorial or guide? Is this rom rooted?

  3. Jonas says:

    Hi,

Isn’t this link to unroot? Moreover, will I have to re-unlock or reinstall ClockWorkMod if I use this Rom? Thank you for your help and sorry about all these questions.

    • Max says:

You will have to re-root and reinstall CWM, this is only really for those of you who want to take phone back to carrier for warranty.

  4. Jonas says:

Ok then if I want to stay rooted & unlocked but have a Canadian carrier ics update (preferably telus) what is the best Rom or option for me? If there are none then i will install this stocck & re-root. Thanks a lot.

    • Max says:

then stock is best, try installing RootKeeper app before updating, then you can keep root I think without re-root.

  5. Kevin L says:

    Hi Max,

I have unrooted using your method and now I have Telus stock with ics. I can’t seem to re-root anymore. I have deleted all settings, all cache repeatedly. I tired this site, xda and other sites with the pda.tar file they provided and it all got stuck on the samsung logo. When that happens, I always have to comeback here to flash the stock rom again using this file: StockROMs.net-SGH-I717D_Telus_1_20120630122852_xxzc97o421\I717DTLLF4_I717DTLSLF4_I717DTLLF4_HOME.tar.md5

I know a lot of people have similar problem. I tried really hard looking for answers everywhere and I can’t find it. Max, I really hope you have an answer for me. I really appreciate your work and effort. Thank you.
