    • Daniel says:

Install a Custom Recovery, if you haven’t already done so.
For all recoveries: IMPORTANT: Make a Nandroid backup with your favorite recovery.
For TWRP: Select Wipe, Advanced Wipe, and wipe cache, system, data, and dalvik cache.
Go to install, choose the sdcard and folder that you downloaded the zip in, then flash CM12, and gapps. Reboot.
For Clockwork Mod: choose wipe data/factory reset. Make sure you made a nandroid backup using CWM or TWRP. then, install CM12 and gapps, and reboot.
      Hope this helps.

Hello Max! Little question, will this cwm recovery for gt n8000 work onon kitkat 4.4.2? I’m trying to root my device but there is no rooting video on YouTube while using kitkat 4.4.2 🙁

    • Daniel says:

Joel, I honestly haven’t tried the CWM method, but I recommend using CF-Auto-Root. It works on KitKat.
