The only thing missing? Video recording does not work so if you use this often, definitely stick with an older Android 4.3 AOSP ROMs.

CM10.2 Android 4.3 ROM for Galaxy Note 10.1! [GT-N8000/N8013/N8010]


For this week’s Note 10.1 ROM of the week, check out CM10.2 Android 4.3 ROM.

If you are looking to experience Android 4.3 on your tablet, definitely you can start with CM10.2.  Everything is working out of the box on the CM10.2 except the camera is very buggy (I couldn’t get it working much).

I know many of you probably don’t use the camera much and other than that, CM10.2 runs very solid on the Note 10.1.  Camera should be fixed though in future updates.

Official Jelly Bean + Root for Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8013!


For those of you with GT-N8013, you can finally get new Samsung multi-view/multi-window features on your Note 10.1 with the official Jelly Bean update from Samsung.

Now, if you are rooted or on custom ROM, you will want to skip all that unrootin’ jazz and skip straight to the ROM compiled by XDA user BadaB!ng505.

This ROM is basically identical to the official stock Jelly Bean for GT-N8013 with root and unlimited apps enabled for multi-window. Also there’s few more additions like support for init.d (so you can keep using app2sd mod) and battery mod.

How to Unroot/Unbrick Galaxy Note 10.1! [Factory Firmware]


For those of you who want to return your Galaxy Note 10.1 for warranty or simply want to reload the factory firmware (because you didn’t make a backup ROM), here’s how to do it.  This will put the factory ROM, recovery, and kernel back onto your Note 10.1.  This works for all the Note 10.1 GT-N8000, GT-N8010, and GT-N8013 models, you just need to use the correct firmware for your model number.

Step 1. First, hold down Power and Volume Down buttons together until your Note 10.1 resets into Download warning screen.

Official Jelly Bean firmware, Android 4.1.1 is now available for Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000 models.

What’s new with the Jelly Bean update?
